BORN IN A TEAM ROOM

Team Room Design didn't begin with a business plan. It began in a team room in Germany.

I was the guy making going-away plaques. After watching good men give years of their lives to a team only to leave with something generic hanging on the wall, I started making them myself. Each one was built around the person receiving it—the places they'd been, the things they'd done, and the people they'd done them with.

The idea was simple: the things we keep should mean something.

THE THINGS WE WANTED TO WEAR.

The clothing came the same way everything else did. We made it because we wanted it ourselves. No trend reports. No focus groups. No attempt to become a “veteran apparel company.”

If we wouldn't wear it, we wouldn't make it.

THE TEAM ROOM GOT BIGGER

What started in one team room became something we never really planned.

We've found our people in different countries, different professions and completely different walks of life. People who may have nothing obvious in common, but somehow speak the same language.

The room got bigger. The idea stayed the same.

THIS IS THE LIFE.
